Local Facilities
The town is well served with many local shops selling a range of both necessities for your stay including a small supermarket, excellent butchers, delightful deli and bakers as well as a host of shops selling gifts and local crafts. There are so many places to eat and drink, that you would need to stay for over a month before you had to go in the same place twice.
                       
The Surrounding Area
If you want to get out and about, Pitlochry is a great place to base yourself with Aviemore only an hours drive away, House of Bruar and Blair Atholl within 15 minutes drive with it's excellent shopping opportunities, Loch Tummel and the famous Queen's View within 15 minutes drive as well as the site of the Soldier's Leap at Killiekrankie being a similar distance.

How to get here
Pitlochry is a great small town which remains open throughout the year, with many visitors from within Scotland and further afield. It is easy to get to with regular bus services from Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as it's own train station. If travelling by car it is an easy drive from both Edinburgh and Glasgow being only 70 mins from Edinburgh airport.
